Wendy Wortham is an accomplished officiant, event coordinator, author and public speaker. With over 12 years as a planner and wedding officiant, Wendy went into the events industry to make weddings affordable to anyone.

In 2014, Wendy merged Texas Twins Events and Texas Twins Treasures to create a barter option for events, The Pawning Planners. This opened a window for consumers at any income level to afford an event service or ceremony. This type of bartering had never been done before in the events industry.

LBGT friendly from the inception, Texas Twins Events was recognized in 2015 as the first organization openly welcoming diversity in the Dallas Morning News. By 2016 prison weddings began taking over bookings and Wendy began performing prison weddings and traveling across the U.S. to address the demand for inmate weddings. In 2024 Wendy filmed Prison Brides for Lifetime TV.
